Best Things to Do in Key West in August

August is a great time to visit Key West. The crowds are slimmer, but, there are plenty of events to keep you busy. Be sure to keep cool: hit the pool at Dantes, take a dip at one our Key West beaches, try a boat rental, or local remote sandbar charter day. You can’t go wrong!

1. Key West Lobsterfest

Lobster season is finally open again on August 6th! Ok, so it’s only been a few months, but it feels like ages since we’ve indulged on these Caribbean tails. What better way to celebrate than the Annual Lobsterfest, a 4 day festival , where you’ll find Lobster cooked every way imaginable. Head to Duval for the street fair and get lobstered!
